what are microgreens??
Microgreens are considered baby plants, falling somewhere between a sprout and baby green.
Microgreens have hundreds to thousands of seeds per tray, harvested early so we can eat the entire plant from stem to leaves. Despite their small size, they pack a nutritional punch. This super-food group contains up to 40% higher nutrient levels than the more mature vegetables you are used to eating. This makes them a good addition to any diet. While their nutrient contents vary slightly, most varieties tend to be rich in potassium, iron, zinc, magnesium and copper. Microgreens also contain a great source of beneficial plant compounds like antioxidants.
